I have read on some threads that B5 can cause lack of biotin in your body. The recept is to take a b-vitamin complex, why? There is no Biotin in the B-vitamin complex I have found. And Biotin someplaces are called a B-vitamin and someplaces H-vitamin, it's very confusing. ???
Help! |

Gustav, I have the same exact question....I think its the same thread here that I also read, about the biotin deficiency. However, I think it was WallyEJones who wrote back saying to a question of mine to take the B-complex....well my question is, wuts B-complex? meaning, when I wanna buy this at a healthstore, what do I say that I'm looking for... B-complex? or does B-complex mean a mixture of all the B-vitamins?? and there are toooo many b-vitamins, like B-6, B-12, B-50...b-complex...which one?? Maybe a good idea would be to visit the derm or a doctor....they may be able to test you and let you know if you are actually experience a biotin deficiency in your body...I may do that first...but someone please tell me about this B-complex too...THanks! _________________ "Even if I was banished to the darkest place...

| and one more thing I forgot, if you find a pill with biotin, you will also find B5 in it. So you will have the absorbation problem again. ?? |

B-complex refers to a mix of the B vitamins. YOu will find niacin, biotin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid)
B complex supplements overall wont help your skin. There are good choice if you are on the Vitamin B5 therapy or if you have stress issue as B vitamins are good for the nervous system. Hope this helps _________________ "The starting point for all achievement is desire."

hey Mari,
so since I'm taking about 7 - 7.5 grams of B5 a day, I should take b-comlex right? so when I go to a health store, like GNC, do I just buy a b-complex vitamin bottle? I've seen some labeled b-complex....is that the one? Thanks! _________________ "Even if I was banished to the darkest place...
