Has anyone here ever tried Stievamycin Gel for acne? Its applied 30 minutes after washing ur face at night with a mild cleanser. I just started using it and heard u can get worse before u get better. Isnt there anything that just clears up ur pimples and not make them worse. As if we all haven't suffered enough already. I am really depressed due to my acne. Its not major but i get a couple and i have one now thats under the skin and red looking. I dont know what to do anymore. |

| I've never heard of it before. Most topicals have an initial breakout where it gets worse before it gets better, but most of the time, the results are worth the pain. Don't give up, keep searching! Everyone has a cure waiting for them!!! |

Hey I used this for awhile and it didn't make my skin worse at all it cleared up right away but I found that after a couple of months it stopped working and was just not effective anymore. It dried me out a bit not as much as accutane but a little. I hope it works for you!

I tried this one, twice. Didn't work either time and gave me a layer of hard dry skin on TOP of the acne. Maybe it's cause it was ages ago and back then I didn't know about moisturizing... _________________ Sam

hey
I have been using this for about 6-8 months. I used it a couple months after finishing accutane when I started to break out again a bit. Worked great for a couple months with no initial breakout but it definetely doesnt seem to be doing much anymore. I think the antibiotic in it must have just worked for a while and now my skin is immune to it. I still use it with the hope that it is actually doing something. I dont want to deal with having to move to the next step of acne medication. But I've had no problems other than it wearing off. |

Yes that's exactly like me, no problems but its just not an effective lasting cure.
