|

Hey everyone. I know that cleansing your liver and intestines has been getting a lot of attention lately. I’ve decided to try this out. I have already ordered and received some Chinese Bitters and Coptis from www.sensiblehealth.com to help my liver. In addition I have some psyllium husk capsules that I’m going to begin taking tomorrow to help with my digestive system. I’m going to take the husk caps for 5 days (5 capsultes 3 times a day) before I start taking the Chinese Bitters and Coptis. I’ve already taken a little of the CB (Chinese Bitters) but it was only for a couple days. I’m going to take the psyllium husk for 5 days before I begin taking the CB and Coptis so that I can clean some stuff out of my colon and intestines. When my colon is cleaner, this will help the liver do its job a lot better. I’ll try and update this regularly and don’t be afraid to ask questions or join in! _________________ "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."

hey wally i'm going for this too, since it seems the way to go, my stomach has never been healthy and i have always had problems of digestion an acne, almost never get sick, i hardly sweat and such so this must be the cause.
One question do you have regular bowel movements? before the husk and such?
Are you taking the husk to regulate movement, then start taking the herbs to prepare for the flush??
Where did you get the husk?
Thanks |

Im in too. I got the full pkg from sensiblehealth. I also have the Black Walnut/Cloves/Wormwood tincture from Dr Clarkia. I have been doing all these in small doses for the past couple days. I have to wait a bit for my blood clot to dissolve, then I can get into this more. I will update then too.
Good luck Wally. Yes, keep posting your progress. |

Hey everyone!
Another GREAT and INFORMATIVE link on the "internal" causes of acne. Interestingly enough, this link also mentions mercury amalgams (fillings) as a cause of acne.
I am also doing a treatment to remove all the mercury from my body. Two weeks ago I had some mercury amalgams removed. Mercury intoxication can be very dangerous; many believe that mercury poisoning and other heavy metal intoxication can be traced to autism, Alzheimers, Aspergers, and other brain disorders.
It's weird.....I had been relatively clear, especially from my last liverflush. When I got my mercury amalgams removed, I knew I should have had something on hand to remove all that junk from my body. Mercury vapors are constantly released in the body when you chew food; there is NO SAFE amount of mercury that the human body can assimilate. When I got my amalgams out, I felt AWFUL, (terrible brain fog, confusion, extreme exhaustion, oily skin; my skin hadn't been oily for a while). Anyway, I had read extensively about a product that pulls these heavy metals out out of the body, and ordered some. It was TOO WILD when I started using them, my oiliness disappeared.
Anyway, I had heard before about amalgams causing acne (well, mercury particularly) but this article does us all a favor by pointing it out again.
This may be another piece to the acne puzzle.
Happy reading everyone. This article is extremely comprehensive.

Hey everyone. I'm going to be gone till next week but I am going to keep it up and I will keep a small journal and then I'll type it in!
I hope EVERYONE reads this! This won't be the cure for everyone, as we all know everyone is different, but I have confidence that this can help MANY of us out! _________________ "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."

Hey ya'll! Sorry I was out of town! Thursday of last week I took the psyllium husk capsules twice and Friday I took them twice also, the last day I took the psyllium husk capsules. Saturday I started with the Chinese Bitters in the morning and the Coptis at night. Sunday I didn't do anything and Monday I again took the Chinese bitters in the morning and the Coptis at night. Today I didn't do anything-so basically for a little while I'm going to do every other day of the CB & Coptis. I've also been eating better so that seems to be helping a tad too.
I've found that eating some ice after taking the two helps somewhat to get the awful taste out, but anyone do anything else? They are REALLY bitter _________________ "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."

Hey Wally, has it help with bile flow?
I am interested in using these herbs to prepare for a liver flush so i can detoxify the liver and get it going right.
How long do you think the herbs will last?? How long did it take to get to you?
Thanks |

I sure hope the CB has helped with bile flow by how bitter it is! Seriously though I think it has helped. It is too soon to expect anything but I haven't broken out too bad lately so that is positive for me! I would expect it to be maybe a month or possibly even longer since I haven't done another flush to see results.
The CB and Coptis come in bottles of 250 ml. For the Coptis it says to take 1 teaspoon -1 tablespoon a day and for the Chinese Bitters it says to take 1/2-1 teaspoon a day. I am horrible with measurements so I found this site
http://www.rainforestwebs.com/recipes/conversion.html and it has some conversion charts to see how long it would last you! It took 4-5 days to get here, I can't remember which. It was around $60 dollars too. _________________ "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."

I haven't taken it the last couple of days-either the CB or Coptis because I am sick, but I'm going to take it up up in a little bit half and hour before I eat lunch. _________________ "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."
