O.k;here's the new thread where we can plan our little rendez-vous

We probably shouldn't leave it all to Emma,but maybe we could take Emma up on choosing a venue?We could all make suggestions of where we'd like to go.

Maybe first we should make a list of everyone who is definetely interested.

So;as of now we have,

Yorkie,Lilnat,Me,Emma,Tatum,Tom,RK who are definetely interested(sorry if i've missed anybody ).

Just an FYI, I can make it there pretty much anytime this summer/fall. I just have to coordinate with my backup at the office. We cant both be gone at the same time.

I need to get my passport in order, which I will do in May. And of course a plane ticket. So far it seems about $900 USD to go round-trip from my location. Im not sure yet about where to stay. What about Guest Houses or B&B's? Are they safe?? And getting around town. I plan to do some venturing about. I dont care much for the tours. Some airfare packages are available to get a car. What you'all know about the rail system? I saw they have one-week passes on BritRail. There are other rail systems too, yes?? So I got a few things to plan out, so if ya know about this stuff, I would appreciate!

RK...tell me where you'll be flying into and I'll see what I can do. You really do need to book this early because finding lodging in the UK in summer is really rough...!

It'll be pretty difficult to sort everyone's accomadation out.I think we better all just sort our own out;but then it'd be nice if we could be in the same hotel or B&B whatever.I'd probably just be staying for the night.

We should get the list of who's coming and decide what date we can all make.I can make the beginning to middle of July if that's what we're thinking of?

Im really bummin about the costs to come over. July and August are the most expensive months to fly to London and find places to stay!! Yikes! What I have found so far is that IcelandAir has good deals but they are only for May and early June. Prices dont drop again until September.

Dang tourist season!!

Maybe I can find a roomie for the week! Marty???
